Are You A New Shooter Or An Experienced Shooter Looking To Sharpen Your Skills? Private Lessons Are A Great Way To Learn!

TUITION: $75.00-$100 for one individual $120.00-$150 for two individuals

DESCRIPTION: This one on one training is designed to provide 1 hour of hands on instruction to build a unique training program specific to your needs and interests.

PRE-REQUISITE: None

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Working handgun or rifle (Limited availability for rent on site for handguns and AR15’s. Our rental arsenal is constantly changing. No shotguns available for rent.)
-Minimum of (2) magazines (if not a rental or applicable)
-Ammunition: 50 to 100 rounds factory FMJ ammo
-PPE: Eye & ear protection (available for rent), face mask if COVID sensitive.
-Attire: Long pants, high collared shirt or t-shirt, closed-toe shoes, ball caps recommended.

Personalized Gun Fitting

This 1-hr lesson includes: Lane use, 3 gun rentals, one-on-one instruction, targets, one box of ammo.

TUITION: $120.00 for 1 individual

Security Guard Training Classes

These courses are required by the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance to obtain an Unarmed or Armed Security Guard License. The courses cover the TN Private Protective Services Law and Rules book and follow the guidelines set forth by the state.

Unarmed Guard

$50.00, 4 hours

A person must finish the unarmed course before taking the armed guard course. If someone only wants an unarmed guard license, they only need to take the unarmed course. The course covers orientation, the legal powers and limits of a security guard, emergency procedures, and general duties.

Paperwork and workbooks are included in the tuition.

Armed Guard

$140.00, 16 hours

This course is for obtaining an armed guard license and lasts 2 days. It covers orientation, legal powers and limits of a security guard, emergency procedures, general duties, firearm handling, safety, maintenance, marksmanship training, and patrolling. Participants must pass a written test and qualify with a firearm on the range. To meet state requirements for Armed Security Guard, you must complete an unarmed course within 6 months.

This class includes unarmed guard training (4 hours).

Two Year Armed Guard Recertification

$75.00 4 hours

This course meets the training requirements necessary for the renewal of the Armed Guard license.

A parent or guardian must attend with anyone under 18.

We have a very strict refund policy that applies to all classes and private lessons. Please be sure that you have read and understand the policy before enrolling in a class. If you have a conflict and cannot attend a class, please contact us immediately. 

Terms of Sale: Payment in full due at time of enrollment to secure your space in the event. 50% of enrollment fee is nonrefundable.

Student Cancellation: More than 3 Days in advance of class date.
If a student cancels more than three days before class the student has the following options:

• Receive the refundable 50% portion of their tuition fee via credit card refund.

• Receive a tuition credit in the form the 50% refundable portion of their tuition payment to be applied to a future class or products. (Does not expire. Not refundable for cash after issue.)

• Transfer enrollment in full into a future class in the calendar of events. Doesn’t extend into next calendar year or unpublished future event(s).

Student Cancellation: Less than 3 Days in advance of class date
If a student cancels in three days or less before a class, that student’s tuition in forfeited and cannot be applied to any other class.

The Range Cancellation: In the event that The Range cancels an event you are welcome to the following options:

1) a full refund of your enrollment fee

2) transfer into another class or private lesson, based on availability, on the current schedule of your choosing

3) store credit

• Natural Disaster or Restricted Travel at a State or Federal Level: If Tennessee declares a travel ban, natural disaster, or state of emergency, or if other authorities issue travel bans causing a class cancellation, The Range will reschedule the course for the next year. No refunds will be given for cancellations due to these bans. If students cannot attend the new course date, they should contact The Range to discuss other options.
